Cancellation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. To be fair and equitable to all clients, the following policies are in effect:
24-hour advance notice
We require a 24-hour notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you cancel an appointment with less than a 24-hour notice, or fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to pre-pay* your next appointment. (*Pre-paid appointments are non-refundable.)
Late arrival may result in a shortened session
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate other clients with appointments that follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a session. Regardless of the length of the session actually provided, you will be responsible to pay for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Payment Options Policy
Tranquil Moments accepts all major credit cards, cash, or personal checks.
In addition to our gift card and certificates, we accept these forms of payment:
- Cash
- Personal Check: payable to Jennifer Dodson-Good
- Most Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover
- Apple Pay via Square services*
- Cash App via Square services*
- GooglePay via Square services*
*If Square stops offering these as payment methods, we will also stop offering these as payment methods.
Gift Certificate Policy
Treat your gift certificate as cash and let your recipient know this, too.
The client must bring the gift certificate or gift card to the appointment.
Depending on the type of certificate or card, the client can:
- Show the digital gift certificate on a mobile device
- Bring a printed version of the digital certificate
- Bring the paper certificate or gift card
If you do not have any of the above at time of payment, you will not be able to redeem the certificate or card for that session.
Gift certificates and/or cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift certificate or payment must be provided at time of service.
Referral Policy
What's better than massage? Free massage!
For each new client that a current client refers to Tranquil Moments, the current client will earn a free 60-minute massage session.
- The new client must fill in the name of the person who referred them in the Referred by blank on the Patient Intake Form during their first visit.
- The person named in that blank will then receive a postcard in the mail to redeem for a free 60-minute massage at Tranquil Moments.
- The free 60-minute session expires 12 months after the date issued.
There is no limit to the number of free 60-minute massages current clients can receive for referrals. So spread the word to your family, friends and co-workers about the health benefits of massage therapy, encourage them to make an appointment and earn free massage for yourself!
